Reported directly to the Principal Program Manager in charge of all LOGCAP (Logistics Civil Augmentation Program) contracts with an annual budget totaling over $4B. Selected to assemble and lead Internal Inspection Teams, consisting of 20 expert auditors covering high risk service areas of water operations; ice production; retail, bulk, and mobile fuel operations; equipment maintenance and power generation operations. Area of responsibility covered Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait.๐Ÿ”น As a result of this inspection process, deficiencies for these high risk services showed a greater than 70% reduction in one year.๐Ÿ”น Corporate Senior KBR management highlighted the teamsโ€™ success in a briefing to the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), the government agency responsible for awarding and managing all military contracts. These accomplishments were presented as a model of KBRโ€™s proactive efforts to ensure contract compliance. Show less Deputy in charge of operations at the Dubai transition center. Responsible for air operations, logistics, billeting and safety for all KBR employees transiting into and out of Iraq and Afghanistan.๐Ÿ”น Reduced processing time for UAE visa receipt. Accomplished this through dialogue with current vendor and bringing in a second vendor to reduce the workload. This resulted in on time visa receipt which reduced the number of flights needing rebooking and extended hotel stays, thus reducing costs to the US government. ๐Ÿ”น Managed the logistics, billeting and air support for over 200 employees daily. Show less Project Manager in charge of multiple locations in Iraq which provided base life support services for over 3,600 people. Services included construction services, facility management, power generation, electrical, water works systems, dining operations, retail fueling, transportation services, billeting, and other ancillary services with an annualized budget of $100MM.๐Ÿ”น Received overall excellent ratings by the federal government for all performance evaluation boards.๐Ÿ”น Oversaw personnel surge and base life support expansion necessary for continued military operations in the area. Project was on time and under budget.๐Ÿ”น Worked on improving the local Iraqi living conditions in coordination with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) through several Host Country programs. Show less Responsible for managing all KBR water and ice production for the Iraq and Afghanistan efforts. Production capability supports a demand of over 550 tons of ice per day and over 15 million gallons of water per day during the peak season.๐Ÿ”น Selected for this position after water quality was questioned by government oversight officials and congressional inquiries had begun.๐Ÿ”น Established a program to inspect all water production and distribution operations and bring them to contractual standards.๐Ÿ”น Established a training program for all new water production personnel to ensure that they were proficient and understood all water quality health and safety standards. ๐Ÿ”น The Inspector General audit found that the quality of water provided by KBR prior to my arrival was not maintained properly; however, because of corrective actions taken, KBR met quality standards as of November 2006 when the audit took place.๐Ÿ”น The inspection further found that bulk water sites not produced by KBR did not meet quality standards at the time of their inspection. The corrective action by the government was to transfer these additional sites to KBR resulting in an increase in the total value of the contract. Show less

      Loan Consultant

Expertly led the incremental planning and execution of consumer loans. I immersed myself in the loan project lifecycle which consisted of establishing a business case for each borrower, evaluating credit worthiness by processing loan applications, planning and scheduling the required activities, executing the plan, and finally documenting the entire process in accordance with Federal Regulations. I took on personal ownership of the entire process to ensure all risks are identified and resolved, all parties complete their requirements, and that loans closed on time. Show less
