  During my ownership of Sunset Hills Cemetery, Funeral Home & Crematorium, I resurrected a dilapidated cemetery and created an attractive viable cemetery in which patrons would be proud to call their families final resting place. I created Sunset Hills Funeral Home & Crematorium on the grounds of the cemetery in Eugene, OR. I have developed a pre-arrangement and family followup system which emphasizes compassion and helpful care for bereaved families. I have developed marketing campaigns which include a website, mailers, print ,radio and television. I am an administrator, funeral director, embalmer, cosmetician and sexton. I have helped propagate the concept of natural "green" funeralization through the use of my one-of-a-kind bicycle hearse which I designed, built and use for funeral services as well as marketing. and have successfully marketed natural burial practices as an environmentally conscious alternative to cremation. As a leader in the natural burial movement, I have provided many interviews and seminars advocating the practice, speaking before university students, church groups, business groups, environmental groups, community planning groups, hospice as well as giving many radio and television interviews.At Sunset Hills, I personally meet with each family we serve.
