      Dock 14 Redevelopment, Devonport Dockyard – Strengthening an existing submarine dock to meet seismic loads. Spread over 33 months, the project involved the use of 90,000m3 of concrete and 18,000 tonnes of reinforcement, making it, at the time, the largest single user of concrete in the UK. Up to 750 people were on site at any one time. A typical concrete base pour was some 500m3, the largest individual pour being 1044m3 (duration 17 hours).Site Based role.
