  I generally work as a volunteer for at least one organization each year. Current volunteer organizations include: Associated Consultants International (ACI), Colorado Shakespeare Garden; Denver Botanic Gardens; Cheeseman Park Rose Garden (Denver Parks and Rec), Diamante Valley Biblioteca in Costa Rica.

  I am currently working with a team preparing current and archival information on Developmental Theatre for a to-be training website. I am on the board of the Overland Stage Company. My original role with these touring theaters included customer contact, sales, organization of tours, managing evaluations of performances, managing grants, publicity preparation and dissemination, training and coaching.In 2016 (summer) I was honored to teach a playwriting class at the University of Hawaii, and helped form the East Hawaii Playwright Guild. I also write plays; three scripts are on my website: "Waiting for Baba Yaga", "The Water of Life", and "Gates In and Out". Show less

Work redesign; e.g. order-to-meter-set process from 9 months to 3 weeks, creating the same process across total company. Conflict management including intra-and inter-team, labor-management relations, facilitated contract negotiations. Coached management skills in risk taking, people and career management. On merger team; responsible for all production and engineering hires. This four person OD team was considered to be one of the top ten in the country by a national business magazine. Show less

  Past Chair of Membership, Peer Review and Communications Committees (at different times)

  ACI was a professional affiliation organization offering development, including peer review. It was a distributed leadership organization, with committees doing all of the volunteer work. One person from each committee attended the "Coordinating Council" (CC) where decisions for the body as a whole were made. The organization focused on consultant development through training, peer consultation, and peer review. In 2017 we chose to close the organization down, and are in the process of publishing our processes and methods for general use. Show less

Sr. Consultant Organization Development - Designed and implemented organization wide interventions including Dennison Cultural Survey, International training on strategy(RootLearning), international executive leadership training and coaching, work redesign, acquisitions and mergers. Design and management team for three international Leadership Conferences.

  Implemented an on-line performance management system, on-time reviews at 93% (from 42%). Rebuilt training department, implementing a cross-organizational governing body and first on-line class for managers. Organized several leadership conferences and initiatives. Supported diversity team, including a one day training course taught by employee teams for all city employees (1100 employees in three months).
