This NGO also works in some other districts of Gujarat. This NGO works for Tribal development and Women welfare programs, Livelyhood projects, Milk Co-operatives, Micro Finance, Women Groups, Health Committees, Hospitals. This NGO was the first to start Emergency Transport Services in the most remote and Tribal areas of Gujarat with State Government partnership. I started here working as a Reporter and was gradually promoted as a Taluka Coordinator looking after 143 villages of the Chhotaudepur taluka and various MIS data.The objective of the organisation was to bring the Maternal Mortality and the Child Mortality rate down and creating awareness amongst the community for new, modern and safe medical services available. GLPC works as implementation Agency for (NRLM-AAJIVIKA now Deendayal Antyodaya Yojna) in Gujarat.• Liasoning with all the district level government departments is of critical importance as GLPC works in close coordination with all the Government departments and focuses heavily on Convergence. • Work in very close coordination with all the NGO’s, CBO’s, Training Institutes, Banks & Financial Institutions of the district.
