  A new amazing AOC has been set up in Malta as part of the Ryanair GroupThis is Malta Air, with a fleet of more than 100 Aircraft.I am responsible of the Compliance Monitoring System for both Air Operations and Engineering which includes:• Implement of ongoing audit plan to meet regulatory and company requirements• Liaising with CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) and Senior Management• Performance of audits (Internal and to contractors / subcontractors)• Provide data and produce reports to supplement the various management reports produced by the compliance monitoring department.• Manage and develop a team of Auditors to meet the needs of the audit schedule• Implement systems to ensure timely recording, analysis and reporting of audit related activities.• Developing analytical methods to present results and findings. Show less My main activities are performing internal and external suppliers auditing, prepare and issue audit reports with the resulting follow up. My auditing activities include also vendors of repair and overhaul services, contract maintenance, deicing services and fueling services.I also carry out approval boards to issue new company Authorisation Certificates to Ryanair line engineers.Moreover, I am liaising with regulatory authorities to send all Mandatory Occurrence Reports in time to the IAA (Irish Aviation Authority) and to request to EASA permits to fly in case of AOG aircraft with no local maintenance support available. I started as a Reliability Engineer, then I moved to look after Ryanair Maintenance Program and finally I worked as a Systems Engineer.- Reliability EngineerAnalysis of technical delays in order to prevent reoccurring defects, liaising with Boeing on new aircraft technical issues and reviewing all the unscheduled removals to determine if a particular component needs to be sent to the vendor’s shop for repair or can be locally released, attending conference calls or meetings with different vendors of aeronautical parts- Maintenance Program EngineerEnsuring all latest changes driven by Boeing Maintenance Program Documents (MPD) were incorporated into the latest revision of Ryanair Maintenance Program, developing new engineering orders and task cards when new maintenance actions on the fleet were required- Systems EngineerProviding technical support to Ryanair’s fleet in terms of trouble shooting, reviewing intermittent faults or other defects as required to raise all necessary work orders into AMOS for rectification, bleed system review on a daily base for all aircraft equipped with ACMS, communications with Boeing via the Boeing Service Request in case of a hard AOG or for other fleet issues. Show less My main activity is to coordinate the planning of maintenance tasks on Ryanair's fleet of aircrafts, organizing manpower, equipments and all the facilities to accomplish maintenance.Specifically, my task is to build engineering maintenance plan for designated bases, ensure that best practice is carried out and handle any issues or problems that may arise; I also review maintenance daily, and I complete all necessary base reports.I have the responsibility of rostering manpower and coordinating all engineers facilities (duty travels, accommodations, annual leaves etc.).
