      As Operations Director, I managed vibrant English folk heritage and membership organisation and Grade II listed building home, Cecil Sharp House. This included a library, a folk archive and venue hire. My responsibilities included:Project managing capital projects aimed to improve visitor experience. First, to install a lift and to improve café and reception spaces, so the venue became fully accessible, brighter and more spacious. Then, a full refurbishment of Kennedy Hall, involving the conservation and restoration of an iconic 50s mural, a sprung floor and acoustic panels. Managing the building and facilities to improve the service on offer to all staff and users, with a focus on access, inclusion and customer care.
