  All specified duties as mentioned in Restricted Flight Operation Officer and in addition:- Weight and balance services are provided for the whole of KLM fleet and all foreign carriers handled by KLM, including Delta Air Lines.- Providing support and specialized knowledge during any system disruption or users problems. Assisting the ramp officer when any load technical problems arise. All this to keep disruptions to a minimum.- Perform 24 hours capacity planning for KLM and Delta flights- Provide loading information in case of any incident report or calamity- Apply configuration changes and or create new flights when necessary- Collect and compile all documentation necessary for the flight file and reporting of all relevant information, documentation or incidents of a flight and or payload to the departments concerned.- Provide detailed information to stations concerning their flights and or payload Show less Load planning for all types of smaller aircraft up to and including the B777. Aiming for maximum payload and optimum use of weight and/or balance at the highest profit. It entails further more:- Flight tracking inbound and outbound.- Retrieving of flight information such as passenger count, baggage amount, cargo and mail for zero fuel calculation, this information is required for fuel calculation for the respective flights.- Optimum division of payload over available holds using VLC, Codeco or manually, so that optimum balance can be achieved (fuel efficiency) and extra load/offload activities in en-route stations can be avoided or kept to a minimum.- Cross checking of payload for live animals, valuables, or other special cargo, checking of the dangerous goods matrix to avoid mix loading conflict.- Constant tracking of payload development and maintaining communication with the ground handling staff for load adjustments.- When necessary being able to make decisions concerning payload- Issuing loading instructions to loading personnel- Issuing off-loading instruction for critical flights- Maintaining continuous contact during the aircraft handling process with gate agent, ramp officer and outstations (liaison officer)- Processing of latest actual information, performance of final checks and issuance of the loadsheet.- When necessary perform weight and balance activities in outstations, when no system is available or when in lack of licensed personnel.- Provide weight and balance services for all European foreign carriers conform to their specifications.
