      Developed predictive models for early detection of disease by using observational electronic health records from intensive care units (ICUs). Missing data imputation, temporal modeling and causal inference formed the primary focus of research. Also have experience working with causal recommender models and multi-armed bandits [see Publications]. Worked as a researcher after being selected for a fellowship (Visiting Fellow Scholarship Program). Focussed on developing interpretable NLP models, specifically, modifying encoder-decoder models with policy gradients to extract plausible explanations of review ratings.Upon successful completion of the project, results were presented and led to a full-time offer at the core research lab of the same company.
