      Supported the Consul-General in developing a New Zealand diplomatic presence in Melbourne, while providing strategic policy advice on New Zealand-Victorian relations to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Roles and responsibilities included speech writer, researcher, website strategy developer and stakeholder relations manager for the Consul-General, but also the facilitation of New Zealand Ministers when travelling to Victoria (including Prime Minister John Key in 2009).Other responsibilities included the co-ordination of public diplomacy events to promote New Zealand tourism, trade and investment and consular assistance to New Zealanders in Victoria.
