  Life long writer, long time painter

  wrote two books of poetry published in Italy. the second one, "Quintetti Italiani" (Europa Edizioni, 2014), officially distibuted by Feltrinelli and sold by all major bookstores in Italy (Mondadori, Rizzoli), is to be translated in English. the FB page dedicated to it has been visualized in excess of 30,000 times in its first couple of months with each new post recently adding up to over 5 thousands. as its author i was cited in the U.S. in the Hally Casser-Jayne radio show.a book of short stories, "Racconti Svitati" was published by Vertigo Edizioni in the spring of 2015, sold and distributed nationally. it became doomed because of grotesque editorial & inpagination errors. i should go to court over it, but haven't found time nor enough motivation, i guess.painted many large and small abstract expressionist works, with two of them appearing as the cover of the cited books of mine.had a previous career 17 years long career as a trader, broker, and financial advisor.   built a commodity trading department in a traditional securities firm to be exported to italy in 1991, opened the rome, italy, office. chose quotation terminals, hired all personnel, set up a marketing strategy, and managed the office. was asked to hold and/or organized countless seminars on quoted futures & options. (telerate/radiocor, infor/ipsoa, publica, associazione industriali vicenza, banco ambroveneto) this enterprise was way ahead of the times, in italy, especially due to lack of specific accouting legislation. traded for the company's own account, while managing brokers, and worked on automatized trading systems downloading decades of formatted data from the embrio of internet. built such systems from their screeing tests to the montecarlo simulations that had final word on rule-based systems of algorithms. obviously applied money management rules within the system and in a discretionary way in other trading, mostly, if not totally based on technical analisys of my own.   worked for this company, founded at the Bahamas by Yours-Truly, to service previous clients on my own. ironically, i did it to pay taxes and sleep at night, not viceversa. hadn't i done it, i couldn't have done my job in a serene frame of mind, because italian regulatory laws. these laws demand that someone that gives financial advice and execute orders in the financial markets can only work for a regisered company with the italian exchange commission. the minimum capital of a company like that was "slightly" beyond my means (my capital was probably just enough to buy the ashtrays or the doormats).
