      • I managed the implementation of a range of application, infrastructure, and web projects, some I was responsible for end-to-end Project Management (developing BC -> completion) others I managed varying stages.Key project: Customer Relationship Management Project – (Application Project) July 2005 -> July 2006• Retired twelve databases and spreadsheets and replaced with a Microsoft Customer Relationship Management (MSCRM).• The team consisted of 18 internal resources and two external outsourcing partners (one responsible in customising and testing the application, the other deploying it into the Citrix environment.• I was responsible for end-to-end project management, from assessing ‘off the shelf’ and bespoke development options, securing funding, managed the RFP process, then through to training, communications, and implementation.Key project: Ozone Layer Protection Act Project – (Application Project). September 2005 -> March 2006• Replaced various excel spreadsheets used to issue carbon credits with a bespoke application.• The team consisted of seven internal and an outsourcing partner. Key project: Buy Kiwi Made web site – (Web Development Project) March 2006 -> July 2006• Design, built and implemented a web site where you could see NZ made products and register a product (www.buykiwimade.govt.nz).• The team consisted of 6 resources and a vendor, who developed and hosted the site.• I presented the site to MPs (Jeanette Fitzsimmons and Sue Bradford).       The project developed tools to monitor and manage HNZC asset portfolio. It was divided into three phases, I managed the first which involved documenting the testing requirements.• Phase 1 budget was $1.3m and consisted of six work streams.• I worked extensively with internal and external stakeholders including; Regional Managers, Asset Managers, Property Inspectors, Audit, Legal, Communications, IT and Training. I also worked closely with the Department of Building and Housing to develop then test business requirements. • The project conducted a series of reference site visits in NZ and a series of pilots to test emerging business requirements(which I wrote) and data capture procedures.       Transformation Programmes• The first involved process re-engineering throughout the Grid Development business unit which identifies the future needs of the grid over the next 20 – 30 years and resulted in major productivity improvements. • The second involved various cost out initiatives which included: FTE and contractor reductions.Regulatory Control Period (RCP3) Proposal• Involved managing the RCP3 Proposal, working with the business to develop expenditure forecasts and supporting documentation to define and justify spending for the management of the National Grid from July 2020 – 2025.• Engaged with customers and interested stakeholders, captured feedback, then incorporated into the planning before the proposal was reviewed by an Independent Verifier, who evaluated whether the service measures, proposed capital and operating expenditure and key assumptions are consistent with the efficient costs of a prudent supplier.• I managed various work streams within the Programme.       Managed the Operational Risk stream within the BS11 Programme, which ensured compliance with Reserve Bank NZ Outsourcing Policy.• I was responsible to bring people, systems, and process of ANZ’s Anti Money Laundering function into New Zealand to ensure NZ could provide basic banking services regardless of issues affecting their parent company.• I managed an off shore team who were located in Wellington, Auckland, Melbourne and Brisbane, the project had an approved budget of $6.7M.

      • Delivered a new technology platform (Microsoft Dynamics 365).• Reviewed, refreshed, and migrated (7k+) curriculum resource onto the new platform (Tāhūrangi).• Decommission web sites.• I managed up to 23 internal resources (permanent, contractors and consultants) and various external providers (including Microsoft). Resources were located throughout NZ, Australia, Singapore and India.• During the project we went through two Treasury Gateway reviews and other external TQA & IQAs.• I was brought on after the Implementation Business Case and Statement of Work with Microsoft was signed, then saw the project through to transitioning to BAU.• I was the third Project Manager assigned.
