    • Purdue University

      Aug 2021 - May 2024
      Undergraduate Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant at Purdue, I supported incoming Computer Science and Data Science undergraduates by helping them grasp key concepts in data science and object-oriented programming. I hosted in-person lab sessions to provide hands-on assistance with class topics and assignments, ensuring students had the guidance they needed. Additionally, I actively monitored and responded to students' questions through an online help forum, offering timely support to enhance their learning experience.

    • Sandia National Laboratories

      Aug 2021 - May 2022
      Undergraduate Data Science Researcher

As a Data Science Researcher at Sandia National Laboratories, I contributed to Project AESOP through the Purdue Data Mine Corporate Partners Program, where I played a key role in developing a full-stack web application designed to ingest, filter, and generate analytics on experimental wargame data. Utilizing MongoDB for database management and Flask to host the web server, I applied data engineering techniques to create an analytical toolkit for processing complex datasets. Additionally, I leveraged Docker and Kubernetes to containerize the application, ensuring ease of deployment and enhanced security. I also explored various machine learning methods to investigate the impacts of information and communication on cyber deterrence effectiveness in order to design baseline analytics. This experience deepened my expertise in full-stack development, data engineering, and machine learning, equipping me with the skills to build robust, scalable data solutions. Show less

    • Collins Aerospace

      May 2022 - Aug 2022
      Software Engineer Intern

During my Software Engineer Internship at Collins Aerospace, I focused on enhancing the MLOps pipeline within the Ascentia analytics framework. I utilized MLflow and Apache Spark to standardize the development and deployment of machine learning models, ensuring a streamlined and efficient process. This project also involved integrating machine learning capabilities to develop analytics tools that effectively monitor the health status of various aircraft components, contributing to improved reliability and safety of commercial aircrafts. Through this experience, I gained a deep understanding of MLOps practices and developed strong skills in model lifecycle management, cloud-based data solutions, and deploying scalable machine learning models in production. IronHacks COVID-19 Data Science Hackathon Winner Research Center of Open Digital Innovation Using real-time time series data over the course of Spring-Summer 2021, I developed an accurate machine learning model to predict the weekly foot traffic at restaurants (and other places of interest) in Marion and Tippecanoe County, Indiana. The resulting predictions and insights generated from the model were used to inform citizens as well as the State of Indiana, the Protect Purdue team, and the City of Lafayette about the impact of COVID-19.
