  A) Role as an InternWorking on project tile of "Effect of Different Chemical Ingredients on the Properties of NBR Gloves" which aims to:- Study the effect of fillers loading / different chemical formulation on the physio-mechanical properties of carboxylated nitrile (XNBR) gloves;- Produce optimum XNBR gloves with specified physio-mechanical properties and quality which is in accordance with ISO standards; and- To reduce raw materials’ cost during glove production. B) Role as a Research Engineer in R&D Department - Attend supplier meeting with manager to discuss about product improvement and prepare minutes.- Conduct lab-based testing & commercial run to develop new products as well as improve process (more efficient and cost-saving).- Involved in Colour Matching Projects, Compatibility Study (between latex & accelerator-free chemical / filler), Former Corrosive Test, Validation of Coagulant Testing Method, Quality Troubleshooting Project (eg. solve stickiness) etc. C) Role as a Production Planner - Entrust by my manager to manage and plan for production schedule of whole NBR plant.- Understand the performance and limitation of every production line to ensure on-time delivery of products according to the requirement. - Create demand planning system including master order.- Ensure inventory is timely updated & accuracy of inventory as well as adopting FIFO.   - Fully responsible for contact lens design and ensure fabrication of good quality insert.- Perform iterations on lens design to achieve targeted specifications according to ISO standards.- Conduct troubleshooting & improvement study on lens design.- Develop new products according to the planned timelines & responsible for the entire development process, which is from initial planning phase to production.- Perform various research/ testing on product concepts.- Liaise with the production & QC team on quality issues.- Redesign existing products to improve quality / overcome design faults. - Identification & management of product quality problems and provide solutions/ corrective actions to rectify the problems.- Execute engineering activities, including product stability study & process validation. - Conduct lens physicochemical testing, including lens parameters & UV-Vis Light Transmittance.- Carry out QC inspection on finished goods before products are released to the warehouse for storage.- Responsible for the Design Control process, tracing & completing the Design History Files according to product requirements including Design Input, Design Output, Verification & Validation and Design Transfer.- Establish & ensure SOPs and documentation are in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDSAP, MDA and other related regulations.- Assist the team to perform periodic quality audits, both internally & externally.- Temporary act as document controller to coordinate document control activity.
