Furthermore, I mentored and evaluated new Teacher Leaders within the program. In 2006, I was honored to be recognized as one of the top five leaders nationwide.

  I have directed a diverse range of productions, from comedies to dramas and from Shakespeare to Sondheim, with various theater companies throughout the Pacific Northwest. I find great joy in collaborating with artists, designers, music directors, choreographers, and actors to create theater that is both compelling and entertaining.   I teach and develop courses in acting, theatre, communications, improvisation, and filmmaking. As the Theatre Director, I direct and produce three productions each year with a budget of $60,000, collaborating with students, professional artists, and designers. During my tenure, I have doubled student involvement by significantly increasing performance and production opportunities. I pioneered our school's filmmaking and digital media programs, resulting in many students pursuing filmmaking in college and beyond. Additionally, I volunteer to coach student lawyers and witnesses for our nationally ranked Mock Trial program, reflecting my commitment to their success.
