  Working with Process Engineers at Rackspace to deliver more technical solutions to address the business needs they face. Responsibilities include:-- Creating scripts in various languages including powershell, bash, c#, python, javascript.-- Creating and maintaining tools that are used by process engineers that allow them to work faster and at scale.-- Working with developers and engineers from other teams to facilitate and ensure delivery of technical solutions to the process engineering team. -- Teaching Process Engineers more technical details when required to facilitate proper process architecture and planning.-- Maintenance and development of the custom automation platform that Rackspace uses. Additionally, I built out a library of python scripts that reside on a secured server. These scripts allow my team to work at scale in ways that were never possible before. This tool allowed us to download and backup every automation, parse them and locate not only what system integrations were in use, but where they resided, allowed us to make changes at scale (like disabling a specific integration globally), or generate reports that would previously require 100s of man hours. This tool saved my team an estimated $350,000 of labor costs in the year 2021 alone. To address this I created a series of scripts that reduced the amount of manual labor needed.-- A script to splice to automations together.-- A script to insert modified standards into legacy automations with out modifying the actual automation.-- A script to insert exception handling into automations that would otherwise not have exception handling.-- A script to insert predefined modules into automations.-- A script to manage versioning of automations and standardize change log notation.-- A script to convert json to csv and csv to json for specific formatting requirements.Additionally, I built a basic web interface for these scripts and provisioned a small webserver to deploy this tool to my team. The tool was used over 100 times each day since. This tool saved my team an estimated $85,000 in labor costs a year since being deployed.Extra Work done:- Supervised other Engineers work and took an active role in their projects to ensure their delivery.- Educating fellow engineers when needed about a variety of topics.
