  handling client requests for updates for ongoing projects for retail clients based in the UK and US ...module leader and quality analyst...things like that... was part of the famous 'Y2K as entry' strategy practised by the software biggies - this paved the way for many more projects in the years to come ... this is where I revisited my COBOL programming skills and learnt JCL and CICS (an interesting environment)...my first brush with CBTs occured here - in the E and R lab - Infosys was using e-learning as early as 1998!also worked on a C and Unix project (NCR ) in my second year... some interesting work out there and some very bright people to work with ...not to mention the fact that working on UNIX can be a sometimes maddening, but overall enriching experience ... there are OS's and other OS's and then there is UNIX ...
