  The job functions are:• execute plans as specified; • monitor and ensure quality of Fibre network infrastructure implementations by the install team/outsourced service provider;• monitor and report on quality of performance and delivery by the outsourced service provider to the supervisor;• perform physical inspections of the work in progress at critical phases; obtaining approvals from QA before handing over to Operations;• assess deviations from plans and follow protocol for deviation requests; • ensure technical standards and specifications of Telecoms are adhered to;• communicate any risks encountered during the project to the implementation supervisor and project manager;• identify and propose ways of mitigating those risks;• ensure compliance with Telecoms processes and procedures regarding change control, project management and financial governance as well as quality assurance standards;• verify and submit site documentation (including As-Builts) to the Infrastructure Implementation Supervisor as required; • provide feedback to management to contribute towards strategic plans and reviews; production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; problem resolution and construction management system improvements;• ensure compliance with legal standards and codes of practice; • ensure safe, secure, and healthy work environment according to Health & Safety standards;• keep track of changes and emerging Fibre infrastructure install practices and standards and share with/inform management accordingly; • protect the interest of the organisation and preserve its reputation by accepting responsibility and ownership of various assignments and challenges that form part of the overall strategy of the Branch.• document redline changes to Fibre network infrastructure plans and drawings, managing the change control process, and provide as-built drawings and test data for the finished project Show less
