      Taking the responsibilities of lead software engineer on tasks, owning design, test and technology decisions.Projects include:I created an algorithm to reduce the sampling points needed to train machine learning models by 74% compared to Particle Swarm derived methods. It does this by intelligently and efficiently sampling from the design space, which can have any number of dimensions.I created a reinforcement learning environment that trains a model using the DDPG algorithm. Through my design of the action, state variables, and reward shaping, the model is able to reach the desired end point in as few as 2 steps. The RL-trained model can generate component parameters that improve the component's performance by 1.7%.I have also been spearheaded projects including anomaly detection using LSTM and CNN autoencoders, vector database creation for querying documents with an LLM, automatic ML model creation from physics-based simulations and LLM chat tools.
