      Undergraduate Student Researcher of the 2019 RASC-AL UPRM Team - Design and Structures Division

      The RASC-AL UPRM Team was a group of physics and engineering students that worked actively in a research project named LEAPR that developed a human-based lunar lander. Our project competed at the 2019 NASA RASC-AL Competition. Particularly, I worked in the design and implementation of a robotic arm for the lunar vehicle. Eventually, our team made history by becoming the first group of Puerto Ricans to ever win First Place Overall in this competition.
