      Applied to and received both a travel grant and supply grant to conduct biochemistry-focused research with Dr. Charles Krois, PhD Biochemistry. This research is focused on enlightening the biochemical pathways involved in retinoic acid metabolism in brown adipose tissue using hormones and intermediates (such as epinephrine, insulin, and T3 thyroid hormone) in variable amounts.
