  I have been working as a freelance consultant conducting Soil Evaluation studies for land-use planning plans at different levels, Whole Asturias Coast landscape, Asturias Central Area and some mountain counties from 2005 to 2011. the aim is to detect Prime Farmland areas in order to protect agricultural development from urban and infraestructural development.   I was assisting in the production of a methodology for estimating open defecation rates and population effected numbers in the States and Provinces of South Asia (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan).Extracted data on open defecation prevalence and analysed trends for the South Asia region, based on 80 surveys (DHS, MICS, CENSUS) for the period 1990 to 2016. Produced 40 snapshot reports containing choropleth maps, trend lines, and projections of population contributing to open defecation at region, country and state / province level. I conducted GIS data extraction and matching with existing national surveys and designed, produced and managed an online database based on PostgreSQL-Postgis to feed online Tableau Dashboard for data analysis and showcase.
