      Study Abroad Semester

I enjoyed a cultural exchange opportunity my second semester junior year when I studied abroad in Italy. I jumped into the Italian culture on day one. I started learning the language, shopping at Italian street markets, and sipping espressos in cafes. I created a healthy balance between school work and travel time to make the most of my time abroad. I recommend that all students indulge in a study abroad experience at least once during college! Aug 2012 - May 2014

I have thoroughly enjoyed being a Campus Relations Associate for my duration at UMass. I have worked at Open House events for prospective students and orientation programs for accepted students and served as a liaison between students and the University. I worked closely with administration to ensure quality of the new student events and assisted in prompt initiation and closing of events/workshops. I understand that college is a huge transition for students and families and speaking with a current student is more convenient than being passed on from office to office and less intimidating. If there is ever a question that I am unable to answer, I direct students and parents to appropriate offices on campus to answer their queries. Show less
