      I worked as researcher with the Netgroup in Tor Vergata University. The Tor Vergata Netgroup is a group of researchers focused on networking and telecommunications topics such as: Mobile and Mobile and personal communications, Wireless LANs, Multimedia traffic modelling, Performance evaluation, design and control of telecommunication networks, Quality of service guarantees and signalling support for real time services over the Internet. I focused my activities in the developing of a solution for the Mobility of VoIP calls in different networks (mainly wireless) based on modifications of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP).I worked and cooperated in different European Projects like Simple Mobile Services (http://www.ist-sms.org/) Perimeter (http://www.ict-perimeter.eu/) and local (MMUSE http://netgroup.uniroma2.it/twiki/bin/view.cgi/Netgroup/MMUSEProject).       I studied and implemented a solution for the integration of the Mobility Solution (MMUSE) in an IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) platform. MMUSE (Mobility Management Using SIP Extensions) is a a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) based solution for mobility management that provides seamless mobile multimedia services in a heterogeneous network scenario developed by me and my colleagues during my PhD.
