Liaison with external regulatory bodies. Management of the site occupational health unit that served three factories. The key requirement of the role is to act as a Safety Leader by setting a strong vision of Health and Safety Management and engaging and empowering the whole company. Day to day responsibilities include management of BS OHSAS 18001, ISO 9000 & 14001 systems.Lead Tilhill Forestry to five consecutive Sector Awards for the Forestry Sector at the annual RoSPA Awards, and for 2015 Tilhill Forestry won the overall RoSPA Award. The Sir George Earle Trophy. During 2011/12 was a driving force in the establishment of a Forest Industry Safety Summit with HSE, presenting to industry leaders at the summit. From this the Forest Industry Safety Accord was developed among industry leadersDuring 2008/9 devised and implemented behavioral safety programme “Insist On Safety”.
