  I was a producer on the Midday With Kay show, featured on Tribe Urban Radio. This show was new to the station, specialising in R&B music. I was responsible for liaising with artist managers to organise interviews (special guests include: Bellah, Wauve, Kadeem Tyrell, Rebecca Garton, Alana Maria, Eric IV and Levelle London to name a few). Updating social media, content / asset creating, general admin. I also worked directly with radio pluggers, regularly screening new music that was sent, informing radio pluggers when songs were being played on the station. I had the responsibility of working with the hosts for the radio show to create the weekly show/music/segment schedule. Being the primary point of contact to artists and their tour managers, ensuring that they are kept up to date with the running order of the day (changes to set times, YouTube and BBC interviews). I am also responsible for ensuring the artists are present at stage for their set time, as well as ensuring that licensing documentation are signed by the tour managers prior to the artists performed on stage. Working with tour and artist managers to help with the backstage logistics of the festival. This includes printing and allocating backstage passes for artists and their crew, meal tickets, obtaining vehicle information in order to delegate parking permits and spaces. Responsibilities include creating contact lists, budget sheets, seeking and obtaining sponsorship from brands and music federation companies, logistics, venue enquiries, liaising with vendors, and creating pitch decks to name a few. The most recent workshops we’ve hosted was with the talent acquisition team at Sony Music for their upcoming internship program, for which over 100+ future music industry professionals joined the training workshop. We also recently hosted an A&R workshop at Graduation Records. In April 2023 we’ve wrapped up the Young Music Boss Awards ceremony. The purpose of this ceremony was to recognise and acknowledge the music industry executives and entrepreneurial talent behind the scenes who are often overlooked. Show less
