    • CHRU de Lille

      May 2017 - Aug 2017
      Trainee in Machine Learning

I joined in 2017 the team of CI2C (Clinical Imaging Core faCility) involved in development and optimization of methods and softwares dedicated to brain imaging and analysis. The facility is specialized in neurodegenerative diseases and epilepsy and is linked to INSERM through the unit U1171 (Degenerative cognitive and vascular troubles). My mission was to develop a Machine Learning algorithm capable of using several, yet distinct, sources of information, such as neuropsychological tests and functional connectivity matrices. The goal was to manage to classify several states of Parkinson's disease based on those results. It was an opportunity for me to be trained on Support Vector Machine classification and Multiple Kernel Learning, as well as to learn some notions about neurodegenerative diseases. Show less

      Jul 2018 - Sept 2018
      Trainee in Engineering

This internship aimed a studying the cerebral areas involved in spatial navigation. More specifically, the goal was to process and analyze MRI images of the brain of several subjects during a virtual spatial recognition task. This study was also an opportunity to compare several analysis tools such as Univariate Analysis and Multivoxel Pattern Analysis, to ultimately isolate brain areas significantly involved in the process of navigation and orientation.

    • MotionTech

      Feb 2019 - Jul 2019
      Trainee in Engineering and R&D

Specialized in tailored prosthetic liners, MotionTech aims at improving the confort of lower-limb amputees by offering customized silicone interfaces to put between the stump and a prosthesis. The goal of my intership at MotionTech was to study the compressive properties of those liners, based on the design parameters and used materials. As a final outcome, I managed to conceive an empirical model linking the liner design parameters to the pressure observed on the limb. It also allowed to study various material properties useful for liner production, thus strengthening the scientific approach of liner fabrication. Show less
