  ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to) handling the shift and monitoring all devices on the network using an enterprise monitoring tool and ensure appropriate actions are taken when an alert is generated. The candidate must have excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skill in order to determine if system availability is affected and strictly follow the escalation process. Responsibilities will also include; but are not limited to  Should be capable of handling the shift and generate status reports of the shift.  Monitor all the devices on the network, locally and globally for alerts. Along with other Specialists will perform initial fault isolation, analyze issue if necessary, escalate events and ensure escalations are sent to appropriate technical or managerial contact. Will be responsible for ensuring all the alerts are addressed immediately and acknowledged. Should ensure all the activities and issues are properly documented inside the support process and assign tickets in a timely manner. Initiate escalations to system engineers, vendors and management until the issue is resolved.
