  Teaching Assistant

  I was a Teaching Assistant for Valery Pavlov, a Lecturer of Strategic Procurement. I helped prepare Homework Assignments, Grade said assignments and most importantly prepare and run weekly tutorials. This role was very demanding and required a high degree of time management in order to balance teaching, with my own learning and homework demands. I found this job invigorating and look forward to furthering my education and possibly teaching after I have earned some experience in the "real world."

  After the GM of Operations left Manuka Health his position was split among several positions while the Recruitment process took place for his replacement. The primary responsibilities of this Role was to Cover the GM's responsibilities of Manuka Health's Supply Chain. Specifically Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Control, and Continuous improvement Projects managing a small team of 4 and working with the GM of Bee Product Centers to maintain adequate honey supply. As the Role of Supply Chain grew it became essential to Split into Planning and Procurement. A New Procurement Manager started with the company and after a couple months of Training my primary focused transitioned into a Planning Focus. Planning is responsible for scheduling manufacturing Jobs for various production units, Internal and External (3rd Party) suppliers. Manuka Health is a fast growing company that exports Health & Wellness products to over 45 countries. The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for Manuka Health's growing supply chain from internal production planning, external manufacturing and all of the components in between with a primary focus on achieving Delivery In Full and On Time for all Orders. Manuka Health is a growing company that exports Health & Wellness products to over 45 countries. The Logistics Officer is responsible for coordinating with the Distribution team, Freight Forwarders, and International Customers to ensure orders are dispatched on time, in full, and with the proper export documentation for the specified country.

  With Manuka Health's Purchase from PEP the company has received additional resources allowing for growth in Manuka Health's Supply Chain Team. Going from a solo operation to a team of 7 in 6 months time it has been a very quick transition with a lot of change. The SCI & ERP Specialist is a role focused on Continuous improvement projects for the Te Awamutu Site and ERP System as a whole. It is a natural transition with my current skill set and allows me to support the new Supply Chain Team without a need to focus on every detail at all hours of the day. It will enable Manuka Health to focus on some critically needed improvement projects to continue the company's phenomenal growth. Show less
