  Field Researcher

  I worked as a Field Researcher for the project "Cultural Mapping for Circuit 3 (Multan, South Punjab) for Protection & Promotion of Cultural Heritage of Punjab through Sustainable Tourism and Economic Growth" for 2 weeks between February - May 2021. I was responsible for conducting field research, attending all team meetings, compiling a Literature review, compiling collected data in a standard format and preparing a Mapping inventory and report in a standardised format.

  Research Assistant

  As a Research Assistant with Dr. Waqas Butt, Assistant Professor of Anthropology at The University of Toronto, I am actively contributing to groundbreaking research focusing on the impact of climate change on water infrastructures and agriculture in Pakistan. I played an integral role in fieldwork conducted in the Daman area, exploring the Rodh Kohi irrigation system, Chashma Right Bank (CRBC), Gomal Zam dam, and other critical water infrastructures, gaining a deep understanding of the region's unique challenges and dynamics. Leveraging my language skills, I translated colonial-era irrigation department documents on water rights into English, essential for contextualizing historical water management practices. Meticulously organizing and managing research data, I facilitate data analysis, interpretation, and reporting. This ongoing experience is enriching, allowing me to engage in cutting-edge research, expand my skill set, and deepen my understanding of the complex interplay between climate change, water infrastructure, and agriculture in Pakistan.
