  Planned, created and supervised programming for 100+ Staff and 300 children aged 6-16. Facilitated training sessions for both new and returning staff members, and produced daily schedules, designating staff to over 40 different program activities. Cooridinated emergency procedures in line with protocol, and reacted quickly under pressure, to ever changing circumstances.

  Developed an innovative paint packaging format in response to a gap in the market, identified through product failures and lack of environmental awareness. Founded a start-up and gained hands on experience in running a company.Took a product from ideation through to pre-production, working with suppliers to produce a commercially viable product.Developed and implemented an intellectual property protection strategy, which included obtaining 10 EU design registrations and a US design patent.Work was published in ‘Huffington Post’, ‘Bloomberg Business Week’, ‘Fast Company’ and other publications.Won multiple design and business awards and was successful in receiving over £30,000 in grants and investment.   Worked between the small but highly productive, graphic and product/brand development teams at Waitrose headquarters in Bracknell. The placement enabled me to work on live projects, and provided me with experience of designing in a fast paced environment; Gaining practical experience of Industrial Design, and informed me of the design process, approval stages and production process in a large organisation.

  I currently lead the high-quality team delivering both the BEng and MEng in Product Design and Manufacture programme. I develop the strategic vision for the programme, implement changes to our curriculm and manage day to day operations.Have produced and presented proposals for large scale infrastructure development projects, which have succesfully obtained funding; heavily involved in the implementation of these projects. Act as the Admissions Tutor for the programme, and lead the vision for the marketing and promotion of the course. This involves planning and leading Open and UCAS Applicant Days in addition to delivering promotional talks for potential applicants. I have maintained entrant numbers in a sector which is currently seeing a decline, increasing our market share and reputation. Play a signifcant role in managing and planning activites aimed at improving student satisfaction.
