  Haute Living is a leading network of luxury lifestyle publications, with regional editions in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco. I worked from the Miami headquarters where I wrote 27 published blogs for the website and three articles for the print magazine. I also transcribed interviews and posted blogs and events online.

  Venus Zine was a quarterly internationally circulated magazine that ran from 1995 through 2010. It covered women in music, film, art, entertainment, literature, fashion, indie culture and DIY culture. During my time interning, I wrote headlines, captions and descriptions for the online decor blog, created ad designs for the website and print magazine, and reformatted, retouched and edited photos.   Alongside the production team, I worked hands on assisting in day to day tasks including logging games, creating highlights, and assisting in the development of news shows and pre/post game shows.   Race Director

  I volunteered with the non-profit organization as the race director responsible for organizing and managing all aspects of event delivery for the first Paws for Tales 5K Run/Walk that was held on September 16, 2017. I coordinated with the city and forest preserve to secure a location, approve a route and obtain the necessary permits while also responsible for gaining, securing and communicating with vendors and sponsors. Alongside creating the event website I also developed the registration page using Abila Fundraising Online and monitored signups and donations. In addition, I assisted with volunteer recruitment and maintained marketing and promotional duties.I planned and executed efficient event day responsibilities including packet pick-up, set-up/take-down, volunteer placement, vendor engagement, entertainment, food/water, aid stations, and overall participant experiences. Concluded with a sold out registration of 100 participants, promoted fundraising to collect more than $2,800 in peer-to-peer donations and surpassed the $3,000 event total fundraising goal by nearly $2,500.   Athletic Events Associate

  I provide on-site and expo support during various athletic event weekends and assist with complete set-up, take-down and cleanup for the expos and race days. During the Chicago Triathlon, I managed 10-15 volunteers at the Multisport & Fitness Expo ensuring the efficient flow of t-shirt distribution and organization. On the day of the event, I worked the main info booth answering questions, providing directions and offering information to participants and spectators. During the Chicago Half Marathon & 5K, I worked as transportation coordinator managing shuttle service and race day transportation questions at the Health & Fitness Expo.
