I produced and edited content such as listicles, neighbourhood guides, event listings and lifestyle news. I also assisted the Digital Editor with social media management on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.       During my second year at Durham, I was appointed at Co-Editor of the Film & TV Section of Indigo, the Arts and Lifestyle Magazine under Palatinate, Durham's leading student newspaper. My responsibilities including commissioning articles for both online and print, as well as editing, formatting, and laying up print editions. I gained insightful experience with WordPress, InDesign, and Photoshop. As a member of the Palatinate editorial board, I attended weekly meetings to discuss content calls, and I was also committed to distributing our bi-weekly print issues when published. During my role as editor, the Film & TV section saw a distinct increase in output and consistency, and I commissioned successful article series such as 'Comfort QuaranTV' that invited contributors to write about the comfort shows they were leaning on during the COVID-19 lockdown, and 'The 2010s in Film and TV' which tracked notable cultural trends in cinema and television in the 2010s. In my role, I also focused on improving the inclusivity and diversity of our content, which included commissioning and encouraging submissions on international films, mental health in cinema, representation in Hollywood, and educational resources on racism.
