      Cultivated relationships with funders, donors and 38 refugee artisan women as well as the Public Relations Development staff to ensure timely completion of projects. Established systems to coordinate event dates relative to artisan sales throughout the year.Developed program resources for the artisan women to develop a sense of community with local vendors and supporters of the program.Coordinated visits with potential collaborators from The Smithsonian Institute, American Medical Id Association and a New York City fashion designer. To express their cultural history and sell their craft/wares, resulting in $22,000 worth of sales this year.Assisted with product development, facilitating meetings and organizing collaborative efforts between the Financial Opportunity Center and The Adult Education program, providing the women with access to financial literacy skills and English education opportunities.       As the Grants Manager my role includes managing the full lifecycle of grant funding, from research and application to reporting and compliance. Identifying grant opportunities, preparing and submitting proposals, and collaborating with staff to gather relevant data. • Grant writing tailoring each application to meet funder requirements and maintain communication with funding agencies. Overseeing the financial aspects of grants, developing and managing budgets, tracking spending, and preparing reports to ensure funds are used appropriately.• Compliance is essential, ensuring adherence to grant terms and submitting timely reports. Working closely with internal teams, providing training on grant-related processes and coordinating meetings to monitor progress. Additionally, managing databases to track applications, deadlines, and reporting, while fostering relationships with funders to showcase the impact of grants.• Critical skills for this role include attention to detail, project management, strong communication, financial literacy, and research capabilities.
