Through an emphasis on efficiency the lab provided accurate results to dairy farmers quickly. I was promoted from a Dairy Herd Improvement (DHI) Technician/Laboratory Technician to Laboratory Supervisor in February 2010.

      Aug 2010 - now

I execute the policies of the FSA County Committee and I am responsible for the day-to-day operations of the FSA county office. I verify program eligibility and administer USDA Farm Bill programs. I began my career as the County Executive Director (CED) in Van Buren County (Paw Paw, MI) working with a diverse group of crops and agricultural producers. In 2016, I moved 'back home' and accepted a position with the Ionia County FSA. In December 2017, I took on the shared-management of the Barry and Eaton FSA County Offices on a temporary basis. Today I manage a staff of five Program Technicians in Ionia and Barry Coutnies. Together, we support agricultural producers and promote conservation programs in our community. Show less
