The late Mrs. Harris was a tireless advocate for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Vernon Johnson Award Faces and Voices of Recovery Mei 2015 The Vernon Johnson Award recognizes individuals who are in long-term recovery from addiction to alcohol or other drugs who have given back to their communities so that future generations can experience the reality of recovery. Nominees will have demonstrated experience putting a public face and voice on recovery. Three individuals will be selected to receive this award.
