  As a volunteer of the Leaders For Tomorrow, a not-for-profit youth leadership movement for social action, from July 2018 to April 2019, at Maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Technology, I volunteered in various awareness programs. Expanding the Leaders for Tomorrow unit in the college, inspiring other students to take up social work, participating in various plantation & food donation drives, and supporting the 2018s flood-affected students in Kerala were some of the achievements.

  Mechanical Design Engineer Trainee

  I worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer Trainee at Bengal Industries Pvt Ltd. During my short tenure at Bengal Industries, I helped develop a 3D CAD model for a new prototype using SolidWorks and drafted some 2D designs on AutoCAD. Bengal Industries Pvt Ltd. is among the leading manufacturers of stainless steel corrugated hoses, stainless steel wire braid, and other hose assembly components at their modern state-of-the-art facilities situated in Faridabad, Delhi-NCR, and now has also started the production of Flexible Exhaust connectors for Automobile Industries, and is now serving to 35 countries globally. Bengal Industries is the only hose manufacturer in India to receive "CE" certification. This is from DNV, Norway for the design, manufacture, and testing of stainless steel corrugated flexible hose assemblies under the Pressure Equipment Directive of European Council 97/23/EC.   Graduate Engineering Trainee

  I'm working as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in Metallurgical Lab - Quality Assurance at Gripwel Fasteners Pvt Ltd. - Uniparts India Group.After spending 10 months at GFPL, I'm now assisting in:• Analyzing the Raw material / Heat Treatment / New Product Development samples provided to the metallurgy lab. Test them for their Chemical compositions , Hardness or Strength & Microstructures and summarize all the data into their respective reports.• Checking the welding samples for Hardness at Heat Affected Zone , Microstructure and other welding inspection parameters according to customer's requirements and various different standards provided in the company's drawing, and report those findings to the superiors. • Checking the sample after grinding operation for Grind Burns and cracks, and report abnormalities to the superiors.• Maintaining daily validation record of Hardness Testers ( Brinell, Vicker , Micro-Vicker , Rockwell and Leeb) according to ISO and ASTM standards. • Helping in validating Magnetic Particle Inspection machines daily according to ASTM standards.Apart from working as a trainee in the Metallurgy Lab, I'm also learning about various other aspects of Quality Assurance by:• Helping in maintaining the latest revisions of Company's Work Instructions, Formats, SOPs and other documents according to ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015. • Helping in maintaining the latest calibration and transaction record of the gauges used in the company and feeding them into the Company's ERP.
