      1. Involved in writing the Council’s 3 year Sport and Leisure Development Strategy and the writing and monitoring of subsequent annual action plans. 2. Provided support to clubs from a variety of sports in order to develop and grow the opportunities that they provide to the community in Norwich3. Managed a range of projects which engaged targeted groups within the community (eg, women and girls, older people, children from low socioeconomic areas) in sport and physical activity in order to achieve key Council objectives inc community development, crime reduction, health improvement).4. Delivered a number of facility development projects inc a national standard BMX racing track (£100k) and new outdoor floodlit skate park (£300k)5. Lobbied elected members to raise the profile of sport within the council. This led to the council funding a number of key projects and facility developments. 6. Launched and managed a new grant scheme to support talented young athletes in Norwich7. Wrote a fortnightly page in a local newspaper (Norwich Evening News) to promote community sports opportunities in Norwich. 8.
