  As assistant to the registrar I:Maintain all student records. We have hard copies as well as an online version used by students and faculty.Register students for classes. Bennington College has a unique registration process. Students hand in completed forms, signed by faculty, and the manual registration & lottery process begins.Process transcripts. Bennington College uses narrative evaluations as well as a pass/fail system. Letter grades can be requested each term.Award transfer credit for students who have studied abroad or taken courses over the summer.Report enrollment to the National Student Clearinghouse monthly.Create the Bennington College curriculum each term. Individual course information is entered into our student information system and then exported into WordPress.Track potential graduates' credit to make sure they have met all requirements to graduate, then order diplomas.Maintain a spreadsheet of students who receive concern forms for courses they are taking throughout the term.Retain Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act forms for each student.
