  I led the Privacy team that supports the Barclays UK Bank with expert advice and interpretation on Privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, DPIA and PECR. This included managing the Privacy support to the UK Bank’s 2 year GDPR Programme, and providing advice and challenge at senior management Committees to ensure adequate processes and controls could be implemented. Responsibilities included embedding Data Privacy by Design, DPIAs, revised breach management strategy and processes, education and awareness for colleagues and assessment of compliance with Privacy Policies, Standards and Enterprise Risk Management Framework. I led engagement with the Information Commissioner’s Office for the UK Bank when breaches occur or broader engagement is required. Show less
