  Advertising sales consultant

  As an advertising sales consultant I was in charge of sales, marketing, customer service and establishing and maintaining effective work relationships for the Queens, LI book. With a firm understanding of advertising concepts, sales promotion and product marketing I prospected new clients and grew the book from 16 to 64 pages within a matter of months. I trained new customers on multiple web based programs, designed layouts for new customers and worked with graphic designers to create pages of advertising. I created excel sheets for customer billing, created mass emails and written and verbal presentations to prospect new clients. I would research technologies and new web based trends in order to help grow my clientele and recommend marketing and promotional tools to help grow my book.   As a medical assistant I greeted patients, brought them back to the lab, got their vitals and collected any specimens that they needed. I set patients up for blood transfusions and assisted in bone marrow biopsies. I also worked up at the front desk, answering phones, setting appointments and verifying insurance.

  As the Communications Specialist for the Montana Lottery I am responsible for planning and executing the summer events program, as well as press conferences. I assist in hiring, training and supervising two interns every summer and cross train and supervise employees during events. I manage, enhance and update the Lottery website as well as their social media outlets, which include Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. I have RFP and Procurement knowledge. I help with the budget and strategic planning, including marketing planning and execution. It is my responsibility to bring brand awareness of the Montana Lottery and to constantly come up with new ideas to do so.
