Brigham young university
Sept 2004 - Nov 2005Student caller - byu telefundThis was a Part-time position while I was a student at BYU Provo. I called alumni, family, and friends of the university and asked them to donate to BYU Provo, BYU Hawaii, and other special programs.I facilitated 637 pledges, totaling more than $43,000 to support Brigham Young University. I also raised funds for scholarships, research opportunities and new building additions on campus. During my time at the Telefund, I spoke to thousands people on the phone. I learned to be quick on my feet, as well as learning how to build rapport with people in a short amount of time. The skills I learned at the Telfund got me off to a great start to be successful in my success in the career path. Show less
