I attended the Institute every Saturday throughout my sixth year of secondary school for extra classes to help me achieve my leaving cert goals. For my Leaving Cert exams, I also did Biology, Physics, Applied Maths, Maths, German and Music, all at Higher Level.While in school, I took part in many activities, particularly in Transition Year.During this year, a career in tech became consistently more attractive to me. I became a member of the schools 'Tech(IT) Team'. As a member of this team, we managed any electronic devices used within the school. Being a member of this team also gave me the opportunity to visit and take part in Microsoft's Dreamspace in 2020.From there I took part in the Schools Digital Champions Programme, a government initiative urging schools to embrace technology. As a part of this programme, my team and I developed a project which improved our home/school life through technology, however, this programme was cut short in March 2020 due to the Covid Virus. Completed the Goethe Institut A1 German course and exam which correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The tefl institute of ireland

Completed the 120 hour Premier TEFL course, the 30 hour Teaching Young Learners course and the Mindfulness and Yoga for Early Childhood Educators course at the TEFL Institute of Ireland with the aim of teaching English as a foreign language in Germany. This course enabled me to do so and I worked in two different locations in Germany during the 2023 Summer teaching
