As a bridge engineer at DEA I have analyzed, designed, and load rated a diverse range of bridges and structures. Listed below is a sample of the type of bridges and analysis I've worked on.-Steel truss bascule bridge-Steel truss vertical lift bridge-Long and short span suspension bridges-Steel box girders-Regular and post-tensioned curved reinforced concrete box girders-Prestressed girder, slab, and box bridges-Steel plate girder bridges (Railroad)-Pedestrian crossings -Post tension spliced precast prestressed girder bridge-Drilled shafts-Spread footings-Concrete piles-RC columns and pier walls-Anchored soldier pile walls-Soil nail walls-Modular block retaining walls-Timber lagging-Aluminum bridge deck -Load ratings -Bridge inspection - highway (state and local agency owned) and light rail-Value engineering-Seismic design, including lateral spreading on drilled shafts-2D and 3D grillage models-Finite element RC slab design and analysis-Large displacement analysis-Construction stage analysisThe above list of type of work I've performed while at DEA includes projects located in Oregon, Washington, and California for both state DOTs, local agencies, and private clients. A few of the Oregon signature bridges I've worked on include:-Astoria-Megler Bridge (through truss and curved RCBG spans)-St Johns Bridge (suspended spans)-Fremont Bridge (east and west approach bridges)-Steel Bridge (truss spans)-Burnside Bridge (truss spans)-Morrison Bridge (truss spans)-Marquam Bridge (truss spans) Show less
