      Sept 2011 - Dec 2011
      Aupair

I ventured out of my comfort zone to experience a new challenge in a foreign place. As an aupair, I took on the responsibility of caregiver, teacher, cook and friend to four children ages 4 to 9. I heavily relied on patience and the breaking down of communication barriers in order to earn the children's respect. I was lenient and rewarded good deeds; however, showed assertiveness when it came to getting items accomplished. The skills I learned and practiced have defined my work ethic today.
