  I worked with an IBM AS400 system to generate laser print materials for financial institutions. I interfaced with the remote job entry system to ensure correct assignment of information and format.I printed reports and statements for mortgages, checking accounts and investment products. I also took it upon myself to interface with the system programmers to troubleshoot and rectify system errors.

  My Primary roles were supporting the hardware and software of the IP Center. This consisted mainly of an IBM AS400 and Xerox 4050 and 4890 LPS. I updated and created programs and tables for use on the AS400 using C/L and Cobol. I also developed and maintained the Job Source language for the Xerox 4050/4890 systems.While in this position I utilized my programming abilities to write multiple Visual Basic programs to streamline the operations process. I also developed databases for the payroll and billing systems which were then integrated into other sites. I was responsible for system backups and the image archive as well. Show less
