The Center for Cancer Care is a free standing cancer center treating ~160 patients per day utilizing three Elekta Synergys with onboard CBCT, two Elekta Precise, and 1 Varian 2100 CD accelerators. The center also has active HDR, LDR prostate, SBRT, and SRS programs. Proficiencies/TrainingTG-142 / TG-51 Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual QA on Elekta and Varian LINACs. Including: Linac based SRS QA, Elekta XVI IGRT QA (including flexmap acquisition). Annual QA performed using the Wellhofer Blue phantom.HDR planning, treatment and QA: Daily, monthly, and source exchange QA. Planning of Tandem and Ovoid, Vaginal Cylinder, endobronchial, Mammosite, Contura, and custom made applicators using Nucletron Oncentra with microselectron remote afterloader.LDR: Responsible for all aspects of prostate seed implants. Including pre-op ultrasound image acquisition, pre-planning using Veriseed TPS, source assay, Operating room support, and post implant dosimetry. I received training at the Seattle Prostate Institute.SRS: Responsible for planning and patient specific QA using frameless immobilization with a tertiary slug collimation system.SBRT: Planning, QA, and patient immobilization.Physics Second checks and Weekly Chart Checks: Checks are performed utilizing the Mosaiq Record and Verify system, Radcalc, and Pinnacle software for 160 patients per week.
