      Within this role I created a project plan to address the remediation of compliance gaps in relation to Management Control Awareness ratings and managed the progress of remediation and key milestones for four regional teams. I prioritised key deliveries, tracked progress and collaborated with regional teams to ensure delivery against deadlines through the implementation of weekly governance calls, reporting progress on a monthly basis into the Leadership team.Conducting a gap analysis on over 150 procedures I worked to ensure all deliveries were captured within new initiatives and transitions. Recommending changes to division wide proposals I was able to shape and influence the go-forward model for Management Control through the adoption of multiple frameworks and documents within Core Operations. Show less Within this role I built and embedded a new team as the receive location to complete a transition of work from a different location. In doing so, I developed a robust control framework including increasing management oversight and implementing an escalation framework for non compliance. I successfully planned and executed a transition of five roles to the India Operations Centre. Following a successful transition I expanded my management responsibilities to manage two independent teams within the Foreign Exchange Operations teams.I completed an 8-month long leadership programme for top talent within the Core Operations business and developed a new control design framework which was presented to senior leaders to improve consistency across the operations business.Implementing a supervisory framework I was able to demonstrate excellent management of my teams through the use of a structured performance management framework including one to ones, performance development plans and trainings plans, alongside evidencing performance against KPI's and risk management. Show less I established a new client support team in support of the go live of the EMIR regulations in February 2014. This included the creation and implementation of procedures in accordance with bank and industry best practice, recruitment and training of team members for the Foreign Exchange business. On an interim basis I managed two teams of over fifteen members of staff, and successfully embedded a cross product delegated reporting team supporting both the Futures and Foreign Exchange businesses. Furthermore, I planned and supported the initial stages of a transition to incorporate further product areas from a different location, including the communications to inbound teams, recruitment and key documentation.From a management perspective, alongside people managing, the role included supporting the risk and control teams in the creation of risk and control assessments through the identification of key controls being performed and any risk gaps which needed to be logged and remediated, as well as supporting the creation of the operating model for the department.Through the delivery of presentations to various stakeholders and SLAs, I provided transparency on behaviours across teams and the impact to both the business and its clients resulting in an improved STP of reporting for a number of reporting fields. Working with the legal and compliance teams I conducted a review of the EMIR delegated reporting service documentation for all products and entities and proposed key changes which enhanced the customer experience and streamlined the on boarding process for the delegated reporting service.
