  I worked as Systems Engineer at Infosys Ltd. After being trained rigorously on SQL, UNIX and Java I was placed into the Retail Unit of the company. In my first project, I was the application developer which required specific technical skills such as SQL and Java. The project also helped me learn the processes followed in the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. Later, I was moved in to a production support and maintenance project. My role as Support Analyst for a leading retail firm nurtured my knowledge on the business flow of a typical e-commerce industry and how technology is applied in managing their e-commerce and store operations.
