Supervised 280 inmates on a daily basis enforcing standards set forth by the North Carolina Department of Corrections. Operated unit's control center, allowing inmates access to/from their cells, and unit. Also oversaw transportation of inmates to and from their cell blocks for medicine and exercise. Performed random room inspections ensuring cells of inmates were free of drugs, weapons, paraphernalia, and unauthorized items. Locked down all inmates assigned to my unit each night, and ensured accurate accountability of all inmates at all times during the day/night. Oversaw inmate cleaning crews after lock down hours, ensuring the cell blocks, showers, and common areas were kept clean and hygienic.
